ANZAC Day was commemorated across ACH Group’s retirement living and residential care communities, with meaningful services and gatherings held to honour those who served and made sacrifices.

🌺Highercombe hosted RSL representatives, with residents leading the service through the presentation of the speech, Acknowledgement of Country, readings, prayers and poems, concluding with the Tea Tree Gully Orchestra performing the Australian national anthem and other songs.

🌺 A moving service was held at Perry Park, where a five‑piece ensemble performed cherished songs before residents and guests gathered to lay a wreath at the war memorial—an emotional tribute shared by all who attended.

🌺 Residents at Milpara marked the day with a personal contribution, as resident Anthony wrote and read an ANZAC Day poem that offered a powerful reflection and resonated deeply with the community.

🌺 The service at Kapara was led by Major Elmo alongside resident John, whose father served with the 50th Battalion in World War I at Villers‑Bretonneux, with special significance given John’s father later lived at Kapara when it operated as the Anzac Hostel.

🌺 Across retirement living communities, residents came together over barbecue lunches, creating space to connect, reflect and share stories, with sincere thanks to Brian, John and other residents who helped organise the events.

🌺 At James Evans Court Retirement Village, residents joined the Ode of Remembrance at Irene’s invitation and warmly welcomed veterans Fergus and John in a shared moment of reflection.

🙏 Thank you to everyone who took part in this important commemoration across ACH Group.
