ACH Group

We listen…

ACH Group believes that growing older is about a journey not a destination. We think about it as turning a new page.

ACH Group is here to listen to what is important to you, so that we can help you navigate the range of opportunities available. We offer advice, and support you to choose the life you want to live, where you want to live it.

Our range of services help to maintain your independence, support you to be as healthy as you can be, and offer opportunities to maintain current social interests, or foster new ones.

We can support you to live independently at home, or if you are looking for a more manageable lifestyle, there are a range of retirement living options available to suit your needs. For a more secure and safe environment, our Healthy Ageing approach within our residential living homes supports you to continue to live well.

Our comprehensive range of quality services assists you to remain independent in your own home. Qualified and experienced staff respect your unique strengths, capabilities and cultural background and work with you to determine what you can and want to do in life.

We are leaders in dementia care, equipped to meet the needs of people living with dementia.

Using the latest technology, we match the skills and attributes of our staff to meet your needs, including languages spoken.

For example, if it’s due to a physical injury we might refer you to some physiotherapy services; perhaps modified equipment will enable you to complete these tasks when you didn’t think you could, or maybe you can regain some physical fitness by participating in one of our exercise classes.

We are here to answer any questions you may have – just call 1300 22 44 77 between 7am-7pm, 7 days a week or use our CONTACT US online form.

ACH Group celebrates Luisa's two decades of volunteering 🥳🎨🤩

Luisa Centofanti has just chalked up a remarkable 20 years of volunteering at Milpara Residential Aged Care Home – and she’s not done yet.

Having walked into Milpara as a volunteer for the first time on February 4, 2005, Luisa has spent countless hours supporting residents with cooking, art and gardening activities.

She said she gets out as much as she puts in and hopes she still has another five years left in her.

“The mind is still willing it is just as long as the body is able,” she laughed.

“It is the people that keeps you coming back – there is no better feeling than spending your time to make other people feel good.” 💚

ACH Group Volunteer Services Manager Charlotte Carmody said Luisa’s tenure as a volunteer was quite extraordinary.

"If you ever needed to see the power of volunteering and the impact one person can make you only need to look at Luisa,” she said.

“20 years is an incredible milestone and just goes to show how volunteering can get under your skin and become a lifelong passion.

“Across ACH Group we have more than 120 remarkable volunteers who, like Luisa, do such much to foster companionship and support social connection.”

Thinking of volunteering? ACH Group offers volunteering opportunities within our community, residential, social, health, and housing programs and services as well as special events. You can register to become an ACH Group volunteer by visiting: bit.ly/3EHvmZa
