ACH Group is partnering with HITsa to get you ready for a casual role that makes a difference with two great pre-employment programs.

Cleaning -Pre-Employment Program

Are you looking to return to the workforce on a casual basis with no prior industry experience?

HITsa are looking for individuals to train as Cleaners for our aged care providers who will work in the community and/or within an aged care facility.

HITsa will provide training – Get Ready for Cleaning– funded by the Government of South Australia through JobTrainer.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a difference to lives of older people and work flexible hours with job security.

ACH Group Catering Assistants Pre-Employment Program

Are you looking for to return to the workforce on a part time basis and lack prior industry experience?

HITsa are looking for individuals to train as Catering Assistants to join their ACH Group workforce of over 1700 people.

These services are vital to support older people within residential care facilities.

HITsa will provide training – Basic Skills for the Food Industry – funded by the Government of South Australia through JobTrainer.

This role is perfect for someone who has a genuine interest and passion for food and enjoys working in a role interacting with people daily.

ACH Group congratulates our Chair, Mary Patetsos, on her receipt of an Order of Australia (AM) award this Australia Day for her ‘contribution in the field of aged care and commitment to advancing multicultural Australia’.

Mary joined the ACH Group Board in October 2008 and has devoted significant time and energy to the organisation with a belief that life is an opportunity not to be missed, regardless of age, gender, culture, and capacity. She has led the Board with integrity and high governance standards since April 2018. Mary is also an Advisory Council Member of the National Aged Care Advisory, playing a critical role in ensuring that reform measures reflect the needs and expectations of older Australians, their families, and carers.

Her commitment to advancing multicultural Australia is reflected in her work as Hon. President and Immediate Past Chairperson of Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia (FECCA) and through other governance roles involving collaboration between academia, business, and community.
