Leading up to #AgedCareEmployeeDay, we are featuring ACH Group employees throughout the week. Our employees are the heart and soul of ACH Group and we want to say a huge thank you to them all for all they do.
Meet Isobel (we call her Issy) – a passionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurse at ACH Group Milpara's residential care home. Issy is celebrating her 35th work anniversary this month. She started her career with ACH Group in 1986 as a Care Worker and then later as an Enrolled Nurse. What motivates Issy to come to work every day is the connection she has formed with the residents.
Issy said "Working in aged care is hard work but interesting and rewarding in so many ways. I have met so many lovely residents and their families over the years. They all have a story to tell and we can learn so much by listening to them and learning from them."
Issy loves adventures and enjoys long walks, exploring caves, beachcombing, skydiving and her recent interest is shark diving. Pictured below is Issy and her son going shark diving on her 60th birthday. Go Issy!

What's been your favourite moment of the Tokyo Olympics so far? Share in the comments below 👇

ACH Group customer Chris has shared his!

"Australia's soccer team the Olyroos had a great first round win against Argentina, winning 2-0. It was not expected, they played very well," Chris said.

"The female swimmers who have won Gold - you need to put those moments at the top, and the swim that South Australian Kyle Chalmers had in the freestyle relay was incredible. He went into the last turn in about fifth place and brought it home in the last lap to win the Bronze. I think if he had another 50m to swim, he would have won the race.

"I have also enjoyed watching the Hockeyroos - I do enjoy team games, over individual sport."
