Home Care Package (HCP) is now Support at Home

Understanding the new Support at Home Program

From 1 November 2025, the Australian Government is introducing the new Support at Home program, a significant change designed to make accessing in-home aged care simpler, more flexible, and truly responsive to your unique needs.

This program will replace the existing Home Care Package (HCP) Program and the Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) Programme.

At ACH Group, we believe older people should be valued and respected, connected to their communities, and in control of their lives. We are committed to guiding you through these changes with trusted advice, continuity of care, and support that’s always tailored to you, ensuring your journey is as simple and stress-free as possible.

🎊 Celebrating culture, connection and community

ACH Group was proud to attend the Khmer Culture and Food Event on Saturday 15 August, joining community members, multicultural leaders, the Governor of South Australia, and Federal and State MPs to celebrate the rich contribution of our state's Cambodian community.

The ACH Group Cambodian Community Team hosted a stall showcasing our weekly social groups, temple visits, community tours and Home Care services, helping older Cambodians stay connected to their culture, language and community.

Maintaining cultural connections is vital for wellbeing, belonging and ageing well – all of which are integral components of thriving community.
