As part of South Australia's May History Festival, residents from Kapara - Christiane, Rose, Brenda, and Gwen - took part in a fascinating tour of the heritage-listed Capri Theatre.

The tour explored the theatre’s stunning Art Moderne architecture and rich history. A special highlight was the live demonstration of the iconic WurliTzer theatre pipe organ, one of the most unique installations of its kind in the world.

Residents reflected that this was a nostalgic and insightful experience, offering a deeper appreciation of Adelaide’s cultural history and the stories behind one of its most treasured landmarks.
