A spotlight on Health Studio Rostrevor

The Hon. Mark Butler, MP, Minister for Health and Aged Care, and Claire Clutterham, Labor Candidate for Sturt, visited ACH Group’s Health Studio Rostrevor on Friday 7 February.

Their visit was a great opportunity to showcase our commitment to providing high-quality health and wellbeing services to the community.

Health Studio Rostrevor offers a range of services designed to support older South Australians’ in maintaining independence and good health, with a strong focus on social connection and community engagement.

Health Studio Features:

  • State-of-the-art Gym: Equipped with 12 unique HUR machines designed to support aging bodies, offering personalised exercise programs for each individual.
  • Specialised Classes: Including Tai Chi, Balance, Stretching, and Yoga, led by qualified professionals such as Personal Trainers, Physiotherapists, and Exercise Physiologists.
  • HUR Senso: A dual-task training system that enhances both balance and cognitive function, offering a unique, interactive training experience.
  • Comprehensive Allied Health Services: Including Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Dietetics and Remedial Massage.

During the tour, the Minister and Ms Clutterham saw our HUR Gym and Studio in action, observed a demonstration of HUR Senso, as well as a walk-through of our Community Workforce Hub, home to more than 50 front-line and office-based community staff.

Over morning tea, the Minister and Ms Clutterham had the opportunity to engage with our dedicated workforce, Health Studio customers and residents from our adjacent Milpara Residential Care Home.
