After 13 years, ACH Group farewells Board Members Celine McInerney and Julie Mitchell.

At ACH Group, we extend our sincere appreciation to outgoing Board members Julie Mitchell and Celine McInerney for their outstanding contribution, distinguished service and leadership. Their expertise, strategic insight, and commitment to the ACH Group purpose of Good Lives for Older People have been instrumental in shaping ACH Group, as well as enhancing our impact across South Australia.

As Deputy Chair and Chair of the Clinical and Customer Committee, Julie Mitchell has provided strategic advice that has been highly valued across the organisation. Her leadership has helped ACH Group elevate both clinical excellence and customer experience, ensuring that the needs, preferences, and voices of older people remain at the centre of every decision.

Julie’s extensive experience in communications has also supported ACH Group to position itself as South Australia’s leading provider of aged care services. A corporate social responsibility and communication specialist, Julie believes in the power of words and has a desire to change the narrative around ageing.

A respected governance and risk professional, Celine McInerney has played a pivotal role in strengthening ACH Group’s governance, ensuring that care, quality, safety, and respect are central to every decision and action. Her philosophy has always been that in aged care, good governance is not measured by compliance alone, but by the humanity embedded in every action — big and small.

Celine has also been a passionate advocate for the vital role our workforce plays in supporting Good Lives for Older People. She wanted to acknowledge the resilience, kindness, and professionalism of the ACH Group workforce, and her belief that our future rests in caring and capable hands.

Thank you both!
