We can definitely help you with this.

Our specially trained Support Workers or Volunteers can spend time with the person you care for out and about in the community such as at the park, shopping centre or coffee shop, or in their own home.

All our respite programs provide meaningful activities, whether for an individual or in a group setting. Our staff are equipped to respond to different levels of need.

Dementia specific support: this can be one-to-one or in small groups tailored to the abilities and interest of people with dementia. Specific groups with dementia are also available.

It’s often the little moments that create the strongest connections. 💫

At Kapara Residential Care Home, our Engagement Leads shared a joyful and uplifting session with Annie Harvey, Human Capability Speaker and Gelotologist (The STILL Effect), exploring mindfulness, presence and laughter therapy.

With plenty of smiles and shared laughter, the session offered simple, practical ways to pause, reset and reconnect - showing how small shifts can support calm, wellbeing and connection in everyday life. 😊

Our Engagement Leads play a vital role in helping residents feel engaged, valued and connected, especially for those living with dementia or experiencing social isolation. Experiences like this support the care, warmth and presence they bring into our homes each day. 🌻

🎉 A big thank you to Annie for sharing your insights, warmth and practical wisdom, Michelle Williamson, Community Connector Lead for organising the session, and to our Engagement Leads for the important work you do every day.
