The best time to work on your balance is before it starts holding you back.

ACH Group’s Level 2 Balance Groups are designed to help you build balance, strength and confidence in a supportive group setting.

This 8-week program focuses on preventative exercises that gently challenge your balance in a safe environment. Sessions are delivered by qualified Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists, with support to help you stay active and maintain your independence in everyday life.

Who are Level 2 Balance Groups for?

Level 2 Balance Groups may be suitable if you:

  • want to take a proactive approach to preventing falls
  • are at low risk of falls
  • have noticed small changes in your balance
  • want to feel more confident with everyday movement
  • would like to stay active in a safe and supportive group setting

Before starting the program, you will need an assessment with an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist. This helps make sure the group is right for you.

What to expect

Over 8 weeks, you will take part in exercises designed to gently challenge your balance and support everyday confidence.

The program focuses on:

  • balance
  • movement
  • strength
  • coordination
  • confidence with everyday activities

Each session is led by experienced health professionals who can support you to exercise safely.
