Yesterday we introduced you to Edward, and today we’re delighted to feature his volunteer story as the first of the National Volunteer Week’s videos.

At ACH Group, it’s in our DNA to challenge ageism, and Edward’s story dispels the misconception about how young people perceive the older generation.

Not only does Edward show up and contribute his time on Sundays to visit Kapara Residential Care Home, but he also developed a youth volunteering program dubbed ‘Youthful Embrace’ as part of his high-school assignment.

Thank you, Edward, for paving the way for intergenerational programs through your commitment to volunteering, showing us that the future is bright! 🌟
