Our Culture

We appreciate that a good culture not only benefits our workforce but also benefits customers and residents, their families and the broader community.

ACH Group’s strong culture enables us to achieve our purpose, supporting older people to live good lives, by guiding and uniting us, challenging us to do our best, making a difference to the lives of customers and residents every day.

Our staff love what they do, aren’t afraid to take action, put their hands up for challenges and celebrate the uniqueness of everyone in our community. These four Service Behaviours guide us in all that we do, and ensure that the best in our workforce brings out the best in us.

The best in you brings out the best in us ACH Group principles

Equity and Diversity

ACH Group is non-denominational, not for profit organisation, that welcomes everyone; customers, residents and members of the workforce, as an individual, acknowledging and respecting all cultural backgrounds, religious and spiritual beliefs and practices, sexual orientation and gender identity.

We believe that supporting equity and diversity principles ensures the best possible outcomes for all members of our community.

We are proud of our diverse workforce with around 45% of employees born overseas and 30% speaking a first language other than English, reflecting the amazing array of cultures that make up Australian communities.

As part of the Golf Challenge, ACH Group partnered with Epic Hire Adelaide to create an inclusive minigolf experience that supported residents of all abilities to take part. ⛳️

Working closely with ACH Group’s health and social teams, Epic Hire designed a bespoke minigolf course and customised equipment, including extended putters, adapted grips and modified greens to support residents using wheelchairs or mobility aids.

The result was a safe, flexible, and engaging golf challenge that put participation, wellbeing, and accessibility first - while keeping the competition fun.

We’re proud to work with Epic Hire Adelaide to make events like this possible for residents.
