Volunteer voices

Volunteering is a powerful way to connect, give back, and grow – and the voices of ACH Group volunteers bring this to life.

Through their words, you’ll hear stories of kindness, compassion, and shared moments that leave a lasting impact.

These personal reflections show that volunteering isn’t one-size-fits-all, and there’s something for everyone. Whether it’s offering a helping hand, sharing a skill, or simply spending time with others, each story reveals how meaningful and rewarding volunteering at ACH Group can be.

The voices of our volunteers

To celebrate National Volunteer Week, we shared stories from five ACH Group volunteers: Alex from Kapara; Elizabeth and Simmi from Perry Park; and Teena and Anna from Highercombe.

Their stories highlight that our volunteers come from all walks of life. Their words also truly reflect this year’s National Volunteer Week theme: Connecting Communities, as in their own unique way, they feel connection, joy, and belonging through volunteering and being part of the ACH Group community.
