Cost and Eligibility

If you choose to apply for support through a Government subsidy, there are two options:

Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)

Available to people aged over 65 years (or over 50 years for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders). To apply, you will be referred for assessment to the Regional Assessment Service (RAS) who may conduct a face to face assessment before recommending services under the Commonwealth Home Support Program.

If you are approved, you are expected to contribute to the cost if you can afford to. We will discuss fees with you before arranging services.

Home Care Packages (HCP)

To qualify for a Home Care Package, you must first have had an assessment completed by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) and based on this you will be assigned a home care package level. There is a basic daily fee for Home Care Package services and an income-tested care fee may apply.

Customer Funded

If you are not eligible for government assistance or don’t want an assessment and would prefer to pay for the services yourself, we offer a ‘Pay As You Go’ option. There is no assessment or waiting period.
