A highlight in the lead-up to the concert was sharing the Sing for Joy journey on ABC Adelaide Radio with Jo Laverty, where choir members Gloria, Lesley and David gave a glimpse of what was to come through a live performance, accompanied by Paul on piano.

In the final lead-up, as choirs prepared to take centre stage at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, the growing excitement was clear — not just behind the scenes, but shared more widely as the story reached TV audiences.
Bringing Passport to Song to life
From the final moments before it began, as the audience arrived and anticipation built, to the performance itself, where 130 voices took us on a powerful journey through life, love and memories, including standout moments like You’re the Voice and its standing ovation.
The impact didn’t end there, with strong audience feedback and favourite songs reflecting the energy, pride and connection behind the event.

As the final notes faded, it became a moment to recognise the many people who brought this experience to life. What remained was a strong sense of connection — created through shared effort and carried forward well beyond the performance.
