Exercise Support Volunteer
Location: Glenelg (Kapara Residential Care Home)
As an Exercise Support Volunteer, you will work alongside an ACH Group Personal Trainer and support physiotherapy and occupational therapy staff to assist residents to participate and stay engaged in exercise sessions.
What you’ll do:
Assisting with one-on-one exercise sessions in the gym
Supporting group exercise classes such as Tai Chi, Chi Ball, and seated exercises
Accompanying residents to and from their rooms to gym or group activities
Supporting residents stay active and involved during sessions
Setting up exercise equipment under trainer guidanceProviding social support and building positive connections with residents
No previous experience required, just a positive attitude and interest in health or aged care. ACH Group will assist with and cover the cost of your National Police Clearance as part of onboarding.
