ViTA Residential Care Home

Room types

ACH Group residential care homes offer a wide variety of room types including single rooms, double rooms and a ‘cottage’ style of living.

All rooms feature  private ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, floor and window coverings. A bed, storage for your clothes and personal items, comfortable armchair and telephone point are also included. You are very welcome to have your favourite pieces of furniture and other personal belongings in your room.

Each room varies in terms of size, layout and outlook, so it’s recommended that you take a look for yourself during one of the regular site tours.  In circumstances where site tours aren’t possible, we can show you photographs or take you on a personal ‘virtual tour’ via video call.

The rooms plans shown here will give you a guide:

You may have come across the Neurons VR virtual reality therapy featured in the Social & Experience Guide across ACH Group residential care homes.

As part of their newly developed role, Engagement and Individual Support Workers had the opportunity to explore this technology.

"It was a privilege to present and demonstrate the real-world benefits of the VR equipment," said Taylor Digance, Senior Team Leader, Social.

"This technology unlocks a library of unimaginable experiences, enabling residents to embark on virtual journeys around the world - to destinations like the beach, complete with tangible elements such as sand or seashells, creating a truly immersive experience."

Bec Burns, Head of Workforce, added, "The potential of VR to significantly enhance residents' lives is boundless. It inspires teams to think creatively and expand the boundaries of traditional care."

There’s great anticipation for where this journey will lead and how it will continue to shape the future of residential care.
