Busy hands make award-winning work  

Valmai Janssan’s family says one of the first things people notice about the 90-year-old is that her hands never stop moving. The prolific artist is set to have her abstract acrylic painting ‘Conchita’ printed and plastered all over metropolitan Adelaide after winning ACH Group’s SALA competition. Her work was chosen from hundreds of entries to be the hero image for ACH Group’s upcoming SALA exhibitions.

ACH Group secures $17.6 million grant for new residential care home

ACH Group has secured a $17.6 million Federal Government grant to support the construction of its 150-bed residential care home at Dover Gardens. The funding was announced on 22 July by Minister for Health and Ageing, Hon. Mark Butler MP, and Minister for Aged Care and Seniors, Hon. Sam Rae MP, through the Aged Care Capital Assistance Program.

From 1 July 2026, new rules require businesses and organisations to register their SMS sender ID (the name shown instead of a phone number at the top of a text message, such as “AusPost” or “myGov”). ACH Group has registered its sender ID. This means any SMS you receive from us will show ACH Group as the sender.
