Betty’s Tips 📝

Earlier this week, we introduced Betty, who at 90 attends Health Studio Rostrevor twice a week for group exercise classes.

When we asked Betty what her tips were to stay motivated, she shared the most important is to “just keep going” especially on the days when motivation is low.

She also suggests:
☀️ Get out of your pyjamas as soon as possible
✅ Stick to a routine, it gets easier!
🏃 Get a great group to exercise with
💪 Don’t give up, it’s easier to keep going than to start again
❤️ Enjoy yourself - it can sometimes be hard, but you’ll feel better afterwards

And as we approach the festive season Betty shared, “While it’s important to try and eat well, don’t stress too much if you indulge in some Christmas pudding.”

Great tips, Betty, thank you! ✨

I'm thinking the staff at Rostrevor manage the excercise classes really well which is really great. I'd love to start exercise at Christie Downs if the staff manage exercise groups well?
