HUR Senso

HUR Senso is a physical training platform that uses a computer screen and pressure plate sensors to create interactive, dual-task training sessions, challenging the body and the brain at the same time.

The training is delivered via games that challenge your body and brain at the same time; training reaction speed, balance and your ability to multi-task in everyday situations.

It is proven to reduce the risk of falls and improve cognitive function.

Assessment

The initial assessment will identify your areas for improvement, establish your baseline and enables the allied health professional working with you, to understand your goals of the training.

Personalised training programs

Each training program is designed to suit your personal needs, is provided in a one-on-one session and programs are reviewed regularly to help you meet your goals. Two to three 30-minute sessions a week are recommended for best results.

The Senso is located at our Health Studio Christie Downs and Health Studio Rostrevor.

Inspired by last year’s ACH Group Cycling Challenge across ACH Group’s residential care homes, the Social Team is gearing up to make this year bigger and better by extending the invitation to Health Studio customers.

For Health Studio customers, the challenge will run from 19-23 January and customers can take part in the gym at their local Health Studio.

And that’s not all - residents and customers will be joined by workforce, who will also jump on board with a dedicated workforce cycling challenge for the duration of the Santos Tour Down Under.

It’s fair to say January will be the month of cycling - time to get those wheels turning! 🚴‍♂️
