At ACH Group, we are passionate about helping students to succeed with a rewarding placement experience.
A key benefit for educators partnering with us is our comprehensive induction program, designed to prepare students thoroughly before their placement begins.
Pre-Induction
Before you start your placement, you’ll complete a short online pre-induction course to help you feel prepared and confident for what’s to come.
Day One – PACE Training
Your first day includes an introduction to the workplace with ACH Group’s PACE (Positive Aged Care Experience) Training. This session gives you an understanding of the aged care environment, ACH Group values, and what to expect on placement and when working in aged care.
Day Two – Onsite induction and start of placement
On Day two, you’ll meet your site supervisor, tour your placement location, get your roster, and be introduced to the staff and your buddy.
Regular check-ins
Unlike some student placement programs, ACH Group provides dedicated and qualified Site Supervisors. Their support ensures you receive the training and guidance you need throughout your placement. Supervisors will meet with you regularly for one-on-one support, feedback, and guidance throughout your placement.
Finishing your placement
Finish your placement feeling confident with the skills you’ve developed and the connections you’ve made. Upon completion we encourage students to apply for job opportunities with ACH Group and continue your aged care career journey.
