🎶✈️ Residential Care Sing for Joy Choir members share deep connections through music.🎶✈️

Encouraged by James McCluskey-Garcia, Choir Director, here are the experiences behind the songs:

🎶 Gwen: “I’ve spent my life as an opera singer on stages around the world and I love joining the choir.”

🎶 Brian: “Being part of Sing for Joy brings back my days performing with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society - the joy of singing together never leaves you.”

🎶 Yvonne: “I still remember singing with my brother at the Gawler Town Hall and entertaining people.”

🎶 Rose: “Growing up in Malta, music was always around us – I have fond memories of my brother playing the trumpet.”

🎶 Winn: “I performed with Kamahl and made recordings, and those memories come alive every time we sing.”

🎶 Patricia: “I sang with a band in Victoria, and music has always been part of who I am.”

🎶 Sandra: “As a new resident, the transition hasn’t been easy for me, but Sing for Joy on Tuesdays is my medicine, my happy time.”

Now, those journeys will come together in a very special way through a pre-recorded performance for an unforgettable shared experience on Saturday 9 May at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.🤩
