Room types – ViTA

ACH Group residential care homes offer a wide variety of room types including single rooms, double rooms and a ‘cottage’ style of living.

All rooms feature  private ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, floor and window coverings. A bed, storage for your clothes and personal items, comfortable armchair and telephone point are also included. You are very welcome to have your favourite pieces of furniture and other personal belongings in your room.

Each room varies in terms of size, layout and outlook, so it’s recommended that you take a look for yourself during one of the regular site tours.  In circumstances where site tours aren’t possible, we can show you photographs or take you on a personal ‘virtual tour’ via video call.

The very first ACH Group Workforce Cycle Challenge has also officially wrapped up - and it’s been inspiring!

🚴‍♀️ Spin Doctors – averaging an impressive 253.9km 🚀 (Health Team Members: Luke Maloney, Robert Lee, Mike Cooke & Marc Tunbridge)

⚡ E-Bike Rider Champion
🚴‍♀️ Ella McDougall, Executive Manager Legal & Risk – cruising to victory with 87.6 km 👏

📸 Photo Challenge Winners - Clinical & Quality Team
The Photo Challenge was judged on Tuesday 3 February by Phil Mueller and Kate Dobie, Executive Manager Care. Phil, a resident at Kapara, is no stranger to cycling success - having won the 2025 and 2026 Residential Cycle Challenge on his recumbent bike. 🚲✨

The winning photo from the Clinical and Quality Team stood out for its thoughtful interpretation, capturing their shared journey, teamwork, and memorable highlights.

A huge thank you to all staff who took part, supported colleagues, shared photos, cheered from the sidelines, and helped make this inaugural challenge such a success.
