Highercombe Residential Care Home

Room types

ACH Group residential care homes offer a wide variety of room types including single rooms, double rooms and a ‘cottage’ style of living.

All rooms feature  private ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, floor and window coverings. A bed, storage for your clothes and personal items, comfortable armchair and telephone point are also included. You are very welcome to have your favourite pieces of furniture and other personal belongings in your room.

Each room varies in terms of size, layout and outlook, so it’s recommended that you take a look for yourself during one of the regular site tours.  In circumstances where site tours aren’t possible, we can show you photographs or take you on a personal ‘virtual tour’ via video call.

The rooms plans shown here will give you a guide:

🥦🍞 National Nutrition Week is here! 🍎🥕

This year’s theme from Nutrition Australia invites us to slow down, share, and appreciate food - because food is more than fuel. It’s a story, a tradition, a connection.

Here’s how we can embrace it:
🍽️ Food connects us - to culture, community, and nature
🙏 Eat with gratitude - appreciate where food comes from, the effort behind it, and the journey from earth to plate
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Enjoy eating together - sharing meals nourishes us physically, emotionally, socially, and culturally.
🕰️ Mealtimes matter - encourage conversation and connection, from the playground or workplace to the dinner table
🌱 Grow, cook, share - food brings us together. Plant something, cook with family and friends, or get family involved
😌 Nourish the moment - slowing down, tasting, and enjoying each mouthful

💬 What’s one food tradition that brings your family or community together? Share it below! 👇
