🎤 🎶A touch of Fringe magic for ACH Group retirement living residents and Home Care customers on Monday, with a lively afternoon at Plant 4 Bowden for Sister Elizabeth, performed by the formidable Libby O'Donovan OAM. 🎭 🤩

Residents from retirement living communities were joined by members of the Sing for Joy Choir and volunteers - a gathering that made the afternoon feel as much about community as it was about entertainment. 🤝

In Sister Elizabeth, Libby draws on her own childhood encounters with nuns to explore the many portrayals of women in habits across film, music and popular culture. The show threads together stories and songs - from The Sound of Music to Sister Act, and even Adelaide’s own Sister Janet Mead - delivered with Libby’s signature storytelling and powerful voice. 🎶

The response from the audience said it all. 👇
💬 “Fantastic to see a Fringe show as part of the social program for residents.”
💬 “Libby is my favourite performer, together with Michael they’ve been to many retirement living events that I’ve enjoyed.”
💬 “What a fascinating story! Who knew!”

After the final notes, many stayed on to meet Libby, delighted by the chance to have a photo together and pick up a keepsake to remember the afternoon. 📸

An afternoon of music, curiosity and conversation - and another reminder of the joy of experiencing the arts together. ✨
