ACH Group is thrilled to announce the finalists and winners for the 2024 ACH Group Way Awards in the Good Lives Story and Service Moment Story categories. These awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals and teams who go above and beyond to support Good Lives for Older People and demonstrate exceptional service behaviours.
This year’s awards have seen an incredible response, with nearly 40 nominations received and close to 400 votes cast. ACH Group extends its gratitude to everyone who participated by nominating and voting for their colleagues and peers.
Good Lives Story Award Finalists
The Good Lives Story Award recognises individuals and teams who embody ACH Group’s 4Rs — Reablement, Real Experiences, Right Relationships, and Roles — in their efforts to support Good Lives for Older People.
The 2024 finalists are:
- Danielle Morris and Jessica Cameron (Careworkers): For their innovative approach to hydration by creating nourishing and appealing blended drinks, supporting residents with hydration and nutrition challenges.
- Pawan Rawal (Careworker): For celebrating cultural diversity at Milpara by sharing Nepali traditions during the Dashain Festival, including a resident-led blessing ceremony.
- Sylvia Reitenbach (Document Management Specialist) and Liz Votino (Group Planner): For leading an art group at Milpara with creativity, joy, and encouragement, making it a cherished part of the weekly calendar.
Service Moment Story Award Finalists
The Service Moment Story Award highlights individuals and teams who exemplify ACH Group’s service behaviours: “Love What We Do,” “Put Our Hands Up for Challenges,” “Take Action and Responsibility,” and “Celebrate Uniqueness.”
The 2024 finalists are:
- Amy White (Operations Manager, Catering): For enhancing residential care food menus, creating accessible and enjoyable dining experiences that enrich residents’ daily lives.
- Customer Service Team: For consistently delivering exceptional service to customers, maintaining high standards despite the challenges of high demand.
- Tina Evangelou (Team Coach): For her leadership in guiding the Home Care and Community Teams, ensuring the successful rollout of the Service Transformation project.

2024 Good Lives Story Award winner
Pawan Rawal, Careworker at Milpara Care Home, Customer Care
Pawan has been recognised with the Good Lives Story Award for celebrating cultural diversity at Milpara by sharing significant Nepali traditions during the Dashain Festival, including a resident-led blessing ceremony.
Pawan championed bringing to life our 4Rs (Reablement, Real Experiences, Right Relationships, and Roles) to support Good Lives for Older People.

This year, we have a tie for the Service Moments Award, resulting in joint winners.
Customer Service Team + Tina Evangelou, Team Coach, Customer Care
The Customer Service Team have been recognised with the Service Moment Story Award for their extraordinary dedication and customer service in the face of high and growing demand.
Tina Evangelou, Team Coach has been recognised with a Service Moment Award for her invaluable support to the Home Care and Community Teams during the Service Transformation rollout.
Both the Customer Service Team and Tina exemplify the ACH Group Service Behaviours of “Love What We Do”, “Put Our Hands Up For Challenges”, “Take Action and Responsibility” and “Celebrate Uniqueness”.
