Every day ACH Group staff proudly follow in the footsteps of the organisation’s trailblazing founder Sir Keith Wilson, continuing to work in innovative ways and support older people to live and age well.

ACH Group has been a pioneer in developing new models of care, including Community Options – the forerunner to today’s Commonwealth Home Support Program, a Nursing Home Options Program – now known as Home Care Packages.

We enjoy partnerships with universities and like-minded organisations to engage in Australian-first research projects where findings can make a difference in our service design and delivery.

We are also champions of challenging ageist stereotypes, with ACH Group staff and volunteers drawing guidance from our Good Lives Philosophy to be strident leaders in a movement rethinking ageing and what older people bring to our society.

Here’s to 70 years of ACH Group.

The art groups across ACH Group’s community have been busy finalising their SALA Festival submissions. 🤩

The talented artists at West Park Residential Care Home have been creating a stunning mixed-media artwork. Here’s a little sneak peek, but we won’t spoil the surprise…

We catch a glimpse of clay work by Sandra and Lou, Janet painting with vibrant pink, Maurie carefully sharpening colouring pencils, and Rae and Netta teaming up on a seaside-themed masterpiece. Creativity truly takes courage! ✨
