ACH Group residential care homes offer a wide variety of room types including single rooms, double rooms and a ‘cottage’ style of living.

All rooms feature  private ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, floor and window coverings. A bed, storage for your clothes and personal items, comfortable armchair and telephone point are also included. You are very welcome to have your favourite pieces of furniture and other personal belongings in your room.

Each room varies in terms of size, layout and outlook, so it’s recommended that you take a look for yourself during one of the regular site tours.  In circumstances where site tours aren’t possible, we can show you photographs or take you on a personal ‘virtual tour’ via video call.

The rooms plans shown here will give you a guide:

If you have a moment today, we encourage you to take a break, share a joke, and enjoy a good laugh – because it’s World Laughter Day! 😀

We didn’t know such a day existed until Annie Harvey The STILL Effect, who earlier in April facilitated a laughter session at Kapara, told us about it.

You may have seen updates about the intergenerational program with St. Peter’s Woodlands Grammar School that Kapara residents are involved in, which also includes the ‘giggle games’ designed by Annie. She is a TEDx and keynote speaker with expertise in neuroscience, brain health, education, and coaching.

Here's a picture of Yvonne from Kapara participating in the laughter session. Have a great day, everyone! 👐
