It is National Volunteer Week 2025 and this year’s theme is ‘Connecting Communities’. It is an opportunity to thank and reflect on how incredibly grateful we are for the volunteers who give their time, energy, and expertise to the ACH Group community.
ACH Group Executive Manager of People, Culture & Safety, Cher Lopresti, said each and every one of ACH Group’s 120 volunteers contribute immensely to our community programs and residential care homes, helping programs and experiences run smoothly.
“Volunteers provide companionship, share their skills and experiences, and bring joy every day, especially through their connection and care for customers and residents.”
To celebrate National Volunteer Week, we are sharing stories from five ACH Group volunteers: Alex from Kapara; Elizabeth and Simmi from Perry Park; and Teena and Anna from Highercombe. We encourage you to read their stories on our website.
Whether it’s offering a helping hand, sharing a skill, or simply spending time with others, each story reveals how meaningful and rewarding volunteering at ACH Group can be.
ACH Group is always welcoming new volunteers. If you’re interested, ACH Group Volunteer Services Manager Charlotte Carmody would love to hear from you.
