🧶💖 Residents at Kapara Residential Care Home have shown their warm hearts - and warm hands - by donating 85 hand-knitted beanies to Major Reno Elms from the Salvation Army.

🙏 Reno said the donation would have a significant impact on South Australia's most vulnerable, "While the donation will bring immediate support, its ripple effect will continue to benefit recipients for many years to come."

Kapara resident Pam said the knitting sessions were not only fun but deeply fulfilling, "It gets me thinking about my kids at home and how lucky they are to have a warm home at this time of year. A lot of people are doing it really tough across South Australia, so the fact that I can just make a small difference makes me feel good."

👏 Kapara Community Connector Lead Michelle Williamson said she was incredibly proud of the residents' efforts - a heartfelt way to give back to Reno, who has generously led ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day services for over 20 years. 🌺
