Quality Accreditation

Our ‘Rehabilitate and recover via early intervention’ initiative received a Better Practice Award from the Australian Aged Care Quality Review Agency, recognising our commitment to rehabilitation and early intervention by creating a partnership between residents and staff.

All Residential Services sites maintained their five year accreditation status, and several unannounced visits were conducted that yielded positive results and commentary from the Australian Aged Care Quality Review Agency.

An audit conducted by the Australian Aged Care Quality Review agency on our Home Care and Commonwealth Home Support services resulted in a very positive result, with all 18 expected outcomes being met across the three Standards comprising Effective Management; Appropriate access and service delivery; and Service user rights and responsibilities.

Also pleasing was the positive comments made by customers and staff in relation to the positive impact ACH Group makes on the lives of older people.

In addition, our Health Services, Veterans Home Care Assessment Agency, Veterans Home Care Service Provision and Residential Transition Care Program at ViTA received an additional three years ISO 9001:2008 certification.
